This year's theme is "Exploring the new world of carbon reduction: Strategies for sustainable development, energy management, renewable technologies, and global climate change."  

More than 250 presentations are scheduled to cover a range of hot topics including:

There's an impressive line-up of world-renowned speakers for this event:  Paolo Bertoldi, of the European Commission, will speak on "New Developments in European Energy Efficiency Policies and Their Integration in Carbon Trading."  Get W. Moy, Director of the Department of Defense, will speak on "Sustainability for the Department of Defense."  And Leonard Haynes of the Southern Company will speak on "The Southern Company's Vision for Green Energy and Sustainability."  

The US Environmental Protection Agency Energy Star program will present the GreenStreet Expo to emphasize energy-efficient building technologies.  Special events include facilities tours of the Georgia World Congress Center and Atlantic Station.
